She is currently bred to Stachowski’s Champion Herdsire HA Shades of Grey a medium rose grey, Silverado son, and producing Champion offspring. She is due in July of 2008. Misty has vicuna markings and a very pretty face. It is said this color can often produce Rose Grey crias. We will see.

Ari# 30710320 Sugar’s Gift $12,000 Born 9/28/2006 after a 6 hour assist, this white Huacaya girl is still kicking. She was large and her dam wasn’t stretched out. Ancestry out of Canada and qualified for dual registry. She has fine fleece and needs to be bred for density and crimp. 125 lbs at 13 months, she has early maturity. Currently in the breeding program at Lofty Pines Alapaca Ranch in Lindsey, Ohio, for a fall 2008 cria. We have chosen Iccarus (an Accoyo Inca’s Ransom son) for her to add density and pop out her grandsire Acero Marka’s Sky Pilot Bolivian genetics. Her dam is HPR Maple Sugar and her sire is Raven’s Skywalker, so she is 1/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Chilean, and 1/2 New Zealand origins. She has been a lot of fun showing in Obstacle and Halter this year, winning 2nd Place in Halter at the Fulton Alpaca Show. We expect her to have a plentiful milk supply and great mothering instinct.

She was very large at birth and continues to grow, maintaining good HA proportions with strong leg bone to support all that crimpy fleece. Grey and Black genetics with Accoyo Royal Fawn genes to boot. This girl is a keeper! She will be in the show ring Spring 08 at Triple Crown, Huron Spring Alpaca Show, Fulton County, Ohio Buckeye, and maybe the Indiana Heartland Classic.
